A Brilliant Atheist Post: Atheism 101

Disclaimer: I felt it necessary to include this Disclaimer.  If you consider yourself to have a modicum of faith in any religion, there exists a high degree of certainty (almost a guarantee) that this and other “Atheism For The Win” posts will either decrease your faith or make you angry.  That is not my intention.  My intention in this post is simply to share what I know is true, and my intention in this disclaimer is simply to share viable consequences. Note: Naturally, the audio blog is much more informative and [...]

The Apex Productivity Item

Stick With a Brand that Works Booth Oranges for Oranges. Sony for Audio Recording. Canon for digital photos and visual media (film). Spacepen for writing utensil. Cyberlite Swiss Army Knife Garmin or Magellan for gps devices. Just a few examples. I’ve used those products for years. All of them are “apex productivity items” (an item that is so quality that all you need is that item and it replaces all other items in a said category; so in other word, with my sony recorder, I need no other recorders, with [...]

Awesome Compilation of Unique Inspiring Physiology/Work-Out Clips (+Agility, Cardio, Strength)

This covers soccer, core dynamic strength, jump rope, cycling, and yoga- all things that require agility and high fitness. I found the combination of the variety of these clips to be pretty motivational. I woke-up, surfed the net to determine the difference between jam and preserves (turns out:  jelly, the fruit comes in the form of fruit juice; jam, the fruit comes in the form of fruit pulp; and preserves, the fruit comes in the form of chunks in a syrup or a jam; preserves are the best, imho), one thing led to [...]

The Ultimate RWCO Productivity List

This is an installment for the POPP productivity series. Basically, I do most of my work at a computer and thus my runway list is usually Computers, Errands, Groceries, or Social. But the Runway-Computer list I noticed had different categories and, more importantly, dividing the RWCO list into the emergent categories massively produced productivity. So in the POPP Android App, this will all be naturally and automatically sub-divided, but I’d recommend using a spreadsheet application (I use open office which rocks). Obviously, you can make your categories whatever you want, [...]

Programming Android: versionName and versionCode

When you check your AndroidManifest.xml file you will see the following towards the top of the code: android:versionCode=”1″ android:versionName=”1.0″> What the heck is going on there?! Okay, what your customers see on their shiny new app after purchasing and downloading (or just downloading, if it’s free) or at the Marketplace is “versionName”. Thus, versionName can be anything: android:versionName=”This is Versssssion uno!” android:versionName=”v4.4329a4revision75″ android:versionName=”v2.0″ It’s just kind of an extended part of the “title of the app” in a sense. What is more technical is “versionCode” this is what the android [...]

Survival Tips: How Flint and Steel Works and The Prusik Knot

I Have been interested in wilderness survival for, well, off and on 10 years (ever since I read Tom Brown’s The Tracker in 2001, grand grand book that one and that guy is mean lean survivalist, but there are better like Bear Grylls). Anyways, I, thus, find, discover, and enjoy some great survival resources. This time I learned how flint and steel works and the prusik knot. How Does Flint and Steel Work (as a fire-starter)? First off, it’s the steel NOT the flint that actually is so conducive to [...]
